Bags and accessories I found at the bins outside Portland, Maine in September. This was all in one trip!
While the mixed home goods/toys/ electronics/ random bins where more challenging to score in, my trained eye didn’t fail me. Proof great items to resell can be found anywhere if you know what you are looking for.
Nothing in this haul has been processed at the time of filming, somethings need washing and mending. I live for the saved flips!
Also, two of the bags shown were scored in the clothing bins. The fjallraven bag was actually tossed back by someone else, but it ended up being a fake one 😢 However, I turned it into a lesson on how to spot fake fjallraven kanken backpacks.
Blog Bonus:
I am writing this about 3 months after this trip and am happy to report that including clothing items I got that day, I more than made my money back. Actually I scored big; I often wish I could go back and thrift there, it as a nice atmosphere. Some highlights are a cashmere Vince cardigan that sold for $250, an Ameribag that sold for $48, and a pair of Olukai Ohana Men's Slides that sold for $70.
